This beautiful hike has the classic giant open meadows of Yellowstone on the way to the shores of Lake Shoshone. Lake Shoshone is the largest backcountry lake in the lower 48 states only accessible by foot or kayak. If you are looking for a great, relaxing hike without much hiking elevation, great open meadows mixed with forest and a beautiful lake to eat an amazing lunch by, then this is a great choice.
