Back To Q/A

  • We are the only company that all guides have a Level 3 ACA Trip Leader assessment, this means that the guides are fully trained in rescue of the guests, and themselves. A regular ACA certification not the one described above doesn’t cover rescue at all, but teaches people how to paddle which all guides know how to do. Whoever you choose please make sure you choose a company that has this cert or they have whitewater kayakers that know how to rescue themselves and guests. This water is 38 degrees all summer.

  • Our smallest group size of 1 guide to 8 guests in the park makes for an overall better experience.

  • We always show up for the tour weather permitting.

Unfortunately, there is a thing currently in our industry called no shows, where companies overbook don’t have enough guides and just don’t show up and don’t let the guest know in advance even if they booked months ago. We saw a lot of disappointed people at the kayak launch last season and a lot of times we can help them and take them on trips but not always. People coming to the park have been planning trips for a long time so when this happens people are devastated. Whoever you choose please read reviews of the company before you book your kayak tour so this doesn’t happen to you.

  • We have tours not only in Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons in the spring, summer, and fall, but also have Everglades National Park kayak tours in the winter as well. We love National Parks and showing our guests these amazing areas is a dream come true!

  • We offer tours at the optimal times that get you away from the crowds, which helps to give our clients a true perspective of our Nation’s First National Park. Our tour times our the “sweet spot” earlier is too cold and later times after 9 can be very dangerous and scary for the guests.
